Villa Betti is located in the Municipality of Nogara, where the course of the Tartar river crosses the state road that joins Mantua to Legnago. Nogara is located 30 km south of Verona, 30 km east of Mantua and 40 Km from the Garda lake.
Villa Betti is located in centre of the village, closed to the City Council.
The current structure is the result of an intervention carried out in the last decade of the eighteenth century on a sacred building of ancient origin: the church of San Silvestro, annexed to the monastery dedicated to the same saint. Of the frescoes that once gave life to the walls there is an image of San Silvestro and a Madonna with saints and angels. Architectural elements of the ancient building can also be found in the walls of the villa.
The access to the villa is majestic and very nice, characterized by a large roundabout.
The villa is surrounded by a park of old trees, the lawns are lapped by the Tartaro river, the driveways of the property are finished in gravel, a large area is used as a vegetable garden and there is also a large orchard. The garden is 15.000 sqm.
The real estate compendium is composed of the main body (730 sqm) that faces the entrance to which the caretaker's house (130 sqm) is placed sideways. On the back of the property is the warehouse and a small single-storey building with a large fireplace. In the middle of the trees of the garden, a little distant from the main body, you can see a stone building used as a greenhouse and tool shed. There is also a two room cellar.
In the garden there is also a dock to access the river. The size of other buildings is 550 sqm.
The manor house is spread over three floors. On the ground floor there is a large entrance hall with lounge, a large reception hall with a large window overlooking the garden, the study, the dining room, the TV room, a bathroom and a large kitchen, still preserved in its original structure . From this room you access a garage and through the first box to a second box and to the former manger now restored. These three rooms also have access from the outside, the first two for vehicles too.
Above the box, on the first floor, there is another store which can be accessed via an external staircase.
On the ground floor, at the back and near the kitchen and the staircase, in line with the main entrance, there is access to the rear garden. Going up through a large stone staircase we reach the first floor, the sleeping area. As soon as you arrive on the landing, to the left is a large laundry and ironing room which leads to a small bedroom.
Continuing to the right is a single bedroom which leads to a double bedroom with attached bathroom and a large terrace on the floor.
This room has access from the ironing room too.
Going forward on the right we find a double bedroom, a small living room and two other double bedrooms.
These rooms overlook a local hallway with wardrobes which leads to two bathrooms, the antique one equipped with a bathtub and a washbasin, and a complete bathroom recently built with a shower. Between the two service rooms there is a passing room with wardrobes.
As soon as you arrive on the second floor, the first room you come across is a large hallway area which leads to 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with a bathtub.
